He is without question one of the hardest and most passionate workers for kids I have known. Rich exemplifies the KIPP motto “work hard, be nice”. It’s rare to find people that are both effective reformers and exceedingly kind. I hope this change will allow Rich some time for himself which he appears to have never taken and enable him to return to some other important ed reform work here in Colorado. Our state needs more folks like Rich working on behalf of kids. All of the earlier descriptions about Rich are true.
